Founded in 1984, Yuncheng Head Acupuncture Institute (Encephalopathy Hospital affiliated to Yuncheng Head Acupuncture Institute) is a public specialized hospital focusing on neurology. In May, 2013, under the care of superior leaders and the leadership of President Zhao Jiwei, all the staff of the hospital made concerted efforts to overcome difficulties and actively carried out various businesses, so that the hospital got rapid development. Neurology department is a professional team with many years of experience. It mainly engaged in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of neurological diseases. The department is especially good at cerebrovascular disease, epilepsy, delayed encephalopathy caused by carbon monoxide poisoning, and the treatment of headache, dizziness, sleep disorder and other diseases caused by various reasons.

Epilepsy treatment is the traditional advantage of our hospital. The establishment of dynamic video electroencephalogram fills the gap in our city, and the examination results are mutually recognized with the domestic grade A of first level hospitals. The hospital is highly praised by the leaders of China Anti-epilepsy Association and Shanxi Anti-epilepsy Association.

The establishment of the Department of Pediatric Cerebral Palsy has filled the blank in our city.
